Story
After a challenging year my best friend Vicki and I are ready to crack out the walking boots, pack the Kendal mint cake and slather on the SPF 50.
We are taking part in the Aberdeen Kiltwalk 2026 to raise money for the charities that have helped us through tough times and continue to help so many in an uncertain world.
The Scottish Women Autism Network provide support, resources and lifelines for women and non-binary people to have the space to be themselves in a safe environment and learn how to be that person in the social world. The strain and stress of fitting in with autism and neurodivergence can lead to utter burnout and mental health problems - SWAN can help people before that point so more people can manage their lives more easily and without fear. So we are grabbing our boots and blowing away the cobwebs for 18 miles to show you can't keep good women down!
