I am raising money for Nordoff Robbins because our daughter went to music therapy with them when she was three years old and it was transformative. When she started music therapy she had very limited speech and found it very difficult to communicate. Working every week with her therapist she discovered that communication could be fun. This was possible because of the skills and deication of thetherapist who worked with her for over a year. She is 19 now and has recently started attending a music therapy group on Saturdays, which has has helped her enormously when other mental health services have simply let her down for years.

When our children were young, Monkey Music was a regular fixture in our weeks and they both thrived in the classes. We are therefore very happy that Monkey Music is fundraising for Nordoff Robbins and we could not really refuse the opportunity to take part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon to support the Monkey Music Team to fundraise for Nordoff Robbins.
