2024 ended with sadness as we lost the Queen of our family. June was a devoted Nan and Mum, and such a huge part of everything we did.

In November, after a short illness, she passed away. Her final two weeks were made bearable for us as a family thanks to the incredible support from the Dorothy House team. Their care allowed June to remain at home, surrounded by love, with the additional support we needed.

Endurance running is something we love to do. It’s tough but incredibly rewarding, and being able to run together is a true joy. Since December, we’ve been training through the cold and wet winter to prepare for the ultimate challenge—the Jurassic Coast Challenge. Over three days, we’ll run three marathons, covering 80 miles along the brutal coastal path from Charmouth to Studland.

At this difficult time for the charity, we would love to raise some much-needed funds for Dorothy House in memory of June.
