Story
I am once again running the Chicago marathon, this time for an important cause: education. And not just any sort of education: I am running to support Street Child in their important work around the globe to help young people in incredibly challenging circumstances, including war and disasters, stay safe and continue to learn.
Street Child works with a network of 95+ local organisations 20 countries across sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. Street Child also operates in Ukraine, my home country, so I feel a very personal connection to this cause. You can read more about them at: https://street-child.org/
I'm hoping to go for 3h35m this time after a fantastic 3h39m experience in Chicago in 2024.
Ahead of Chicago, however, I plan on racing Tromso (21 June: https://msm.no/en/events/midnight-sun-marathon/) and Warsaw (28 September: https://nnmaratonwarszawski.com/en/) to continue to raise awareness.
Thank you for your support!
