Story
To help Perdy (Perdita) recover from her operation after all her pups died before giving birth and they had to be removed and then she was spayed full cost of the operation was £1,900.00 rounded down.
Perdy came into our arms on Thursday 2nd February, heavily pregnant and abandoned. She went straight into the care of an extremely experienced breeder/foster carer, who would take care of her and the pups when they were born.
Unfortunately, we recently learned that there were no heartbeats from the pups, but were too big to scan, so we held our breath to see what would happen in the coming days. We always try to remain positive and hope that there were some hiding that we couldn't see on the scan.
Yesterday, after giving Perdy time to give birth naturally, it became increasingly evident that this was not going to happen and so, to ensure her safety and health, she was taken to the vets to have the litter removed and for her to be spayed at the same time.
We are hoping that Perdy makes a full recovery and if you think that you are able to help us with the costs of the surgery, it would be really appreciated, especially during these tough times for everybody.
