Story
In 2016, I received a life-changing diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease, which began to manifest during my final year at University. The journey has been challenging, but after undergoing Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery two years ago, I have found a renewed sense of confidence and motivation.
As part of my commitment to reclaiming my health and achieving my fitness goals, I am excited to participate in the Solent Swim 2025. This event is not just a personal challenge; it is an opportunity to support two incredible causes: Parkinson’s UK and the West Wight Sports and Community Centre. The community centre plays a vital role in providing support for individuals with Parkinson's, helping them stay fit and healthy in both body and mind.
I invite you to join me on this journey by contributing generously to Parkinson’s UK so they can continue their essential work. Additionally, your support for the West Wight Sports and Community Centre will help ensure that others like me have access to the resources they need. Together, we can make a difference! My target is £500, and every contribution counts. Please visit my total giving page at www.totalgiving.co.uk/mypage/wpd2025 to donate.
