A group of serving soldiers will tackle Mount Snowdon carrying a 100kg log to raise money for Mind Body Connect.

This will see a group of four trek 9 miles up 975m of undulating terrain with a metal log weighing 100kg.

Mind Body Connect is a registered charity (No. 1173834) founded in 2014. They empower marginalised communities through the medium of exercise. Their work directly supports people recovering from addiction, survivors of human trafficking, homeless young adults and various mental health support groups. They have helped thousands of service users and seen first hand how effective physical exercise can be for people that have been through difficult times.

This physical challenge represents the long, arduous route to recovery which MBC’s users embark on.
