Many parents, like myself, are lucky enough to have happy and healthy children who make our lives complete! But for some families their whole world is turned upside down when there child has to battle life threatening or terminal illness. I can't even begin to imagine how this would turn a families life upside down and time becomes more precious than ever. This is why I have chosen to run The 2023 TCS Amsterdam Marathon on behalf of the Rainbow Trust who supports families in this difficult time.

The Rainbow Trust pairs each family with a dedicated Family Support Worker who becomes a trusted and constant person in family life, providing practical and emotional support. This support helps families to face and make the most of each new day.

£26 is enough to pay for an hours practical and emotional support to a family caring for a seriously ill child, helping them make the most of their precious time.

Please help me raise as much as possible! For every £182 raised could help pay for a days visit from a Family Support Worker which allows parents to do chores, look after other family members, relax or simply sleep, safe in the knowledge that their child is being looked after by someone they trust who understands their needs.
