Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page
Hi, my name is Luke, and I am taking on the Snowdon24 Challenge to raise money for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
On July 11th, I will be spending 24 hours climbing and descending Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the highest mountain in Wales. It will be one of the toughest challenges I have ever faced, both physically and mentally, but I am doing it for a cause that means a great deal to me and my family.
Alder Hey Children’s Hospital has provided incredible care, support and expertise for my great niece, Aurora. The hospital has played a significant role in her journey, helping both Aurora and our family through difficult times, and they continue to support her care today.
Like so many families, we have experienced first-hand the compassion, dedication and outstanding treatment provided by the staff at Alder Hey. The difference they make to the lives of children and their loved ones every single day is truly remarkable.
This challenge is my opportunity to give something back and help ensure that Alder Hey can continue providing life-changing care to children who need it most.
Over the course of 24 hours, I will climb and descend Snowdon repeatedly, pushing myself to my limits in support of the amazing work carried out by Alder Hey.
Any donation, no matter how big or small, will be hugely appreciated. Every pound raised will help support the hospital and the children and families who rely on its care.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for supporting this challenge. Together, we can help make a difference for children like Aurora and so many others.
Thank you,
Luke
