Story
The original plan wasn’t to fundraise for this event, but, given the circumstances of the past few months it would be stupid not to raise some money for an amazing organisation.
I am running the Manchester Marathon in memory of my Nana for the Marie Curie Hospice.
In May 2024, my nana, Connie, was diagnosed with cancer. In February 2025 she was moved into Marie Curie Hospice in Stobhill Hospital, Glasgow where they looked after her incredibly in her final weeks, until she passed away peacefully on the 18th March.
The original target was 3:10, but with a few weeks absent of training we will see how things play out.
A massive thank you to everyone at Marie Curie Hospice, they were amazing with everything.
