In April, I’ll be taking on the Manchester Marathon in support of Alder Hey Children’s Charity, a place that means the world to our family.

Our daughter, Olive, has been under the care of Alder Hey since she was just a few months old for her heart condition. From the very beginning, the hospital has been nothing short of incredible. During some of the most worrying moments, the staff and facilities at Alder Hey helped keep both Olive and our family calm, informed, and reassured.

Thankfully, Olive’s condition is improving and she hasn’t needed any surgery. But we know how different our story could have been without the outstanding equipment, expertise, and compassion at Alder Hey. They are there for families when they need it most, and the work they do changes, and saves lives every single day.

By running the Manchester Marathon, I want to give something back to a charity that has given us so much. Any support you can offer, big or small, will help Alder Hey continue their amazing work for children like Olive and families like ours. Thank you ❤️
