The Big 50 Challenge for Bridewell Gardens

Jo Luke is raising money for Bridewell Gardens
In memory of Andrew Crawford

50/50 for the Big 5-0

We are an Oxfordshire charity providing a mental health recovery service to adults living in the county, using social and therapeutic horticulture in a working walled garden and vineyard. Our goal is to help people into jobs, voluntary roles or other meaningful activity in the wider community.

Story

Crawfs Angels (Andrews Sisters & Nieces) are taking on something way outside our comfort zone.

To mark what would have been Andrews 50th birthday, we’re committing to 50K for 50 days.

That’s not one ultra-runner, it’s the four of us, chipping in, every day, however we can. Running, walking, shuffling… whatever it takes to get 2500k done!

The truth is, he was the sporty one.

He made it look easy.

We absolutely do not.

But this isn’t about being athletes.

It’s about showing up in memory of someone who meant everything to us.

He was full of life, energy, and always up for a challenge. So this is ours.

50 days. 50K a day.

We are doing this for Bridewell Gardens an amazing Oxfordshire charity very close to Andrews heart. Bridewell is a calm cathartic space that provides vital mental health recovery service to adults living in the county who have experienced severe and enduring mental illness. Their goal is to help people into jobs, voluntary roles or other meaningful activity in the wider community.

We’d love your support along the way. Whether that’s a donation, a message, or even joining us for a few kilometres, it all means more than you know.

Let’s mark his 50th by doing something special.
