Story
I lost my Grandad just over a year ago, after a long battle with vascular dementia. It is a horrible disease that I’ve slowly watched someone disappear, and I wanted to help give back and help a charity that helped him.
I’ve set myself the challenge to run the London Half marathon in April to try and raise a bit of money for Alzheimer’s Society and really help others who are going through the same difficult time.
At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.
We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.
