Hi everyone,

I’m thrilled (and a little nervous!) to announce that I’ll be running the Great North Run 2025 in support of Barnardo’s—a charity that has changed my life in the most incredible way.

Barnardo’s is the reason I became a parent. Through their unwavering support and dedication, I was able to adopt my wonderful son, Tyler, and give him the loving home he deserves. The journey of adoption is filled with highs and lows, but Barnardo’s was there every step of the way, offering guidance, encouragement, and the reassurance that love makes a family.

Now, I want to give back.

Every step I take in this 13.1-mile challenge is in honour of Tyler and the thousands of children Barnardo’s helps each year. Their work ensures vulnerable children across the UK have access to safe homes, emotional support, and opportunities for a brighter future.

But I can’t do this alone—I need your support!
