Ride for Albie - Italy '25

Luke Sugden is raising money for The Albie Sugden Foundation
In memory of Albie

Cycle

Inspired by the strength and bravery of Albie, who died at only 2 years old from a rare and aggressive brain tumour. The Albie Sugden Foundation aims to support children during their treatment for cancer, as well as funding brain tumour research.

Story

In October, a team of 15 cyclists will embark on a 4 day cycle challenge through Italy.

Luke (Albie's Daddy) along with Andrew C, John, Harry, Josh, Scott, Sam, Ash, Conor, Jason, Matt, Andrew L, David, Richard, & Chris will ride from Sorrento to Sicily, covering over 645 kilometers and climb over 8108 meters!

We will be cycling in memory of Albie, who died at only 2 years old from a rare and aggressive brain tumour.

The Albie Sugden Foundation is inspired by the strength and bravery of Albie. It supports children living with cancer as well as funding research into brain tumours.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under 40 years old than any other cancer, yet they receive less than 2% of the national cancer research spend. We want to raise funds to support research to find kinder, more effective treatments for young people affected by a brain tumour diagnosis.

Cancer treatment for children is aggressive, painful and unforgiving. Life during treatment can be incredibly difficult for children and their families. The Albie Sugden Foundation provides toys, equipment and experiences for children whilst in hospital.

Please support our challenge and donate if you can.

No one loved their bike more than Albie, who'd spend hours whizzing round the house on his bike. This ride is for him.
