Story
For me, childhood is such a special, innocent and vulnerable time of every person’s life. It provides the initial shaping of who you are and where you may go onwards to in life. No child should have that time and innocence ripped away from them.
That’s why I wanted to raise money for NSPCC, the UK’s largest children’s charity. Their mission is to protect children from abuse and neglect and just last year they supported over 1.5 million children through frontline services and projects across the UK. Their self-run Helpline for concerns about a child’s welfare, responded to just under 70,000 calls last year, providing advice, support and often the crucial first step towards safety.
Together we can come one step closer to eradicating cruelty against children altogether and continue to help many children and young people reclaim their innocence.
