Luke Guest is raising money for British Dyslexia Association

Bath Half 2025 · 16 March 2025 ·

Welcome to Team BDA for the 2025 March Bath Half- it's great to have you on board and thank you for joining the team.

Story

I’m running a half marathon to raise funds for the British Dyslexia Association (BDA). As someone with dyslexia, along with family and friends who also experience it, I truly believe dyslexia is a superpower rather than a disadvantage. It’s a unique way of thinking that brings its strengths and perspectives.

The BDA is a fantastic organisation that champions the dyslexia community. They work tirelessly to create a world where people with dyslexia can flourish by promoting understanding, advocating for change, and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.

Why It Matters:

Dyslexia has shaped me in many positive ways and I’m passionate about turning its challenges into opportunities for others. Your support will help the BDA make a lasting impact.

By supporting my run, you’re helping the BDA continue their vital work in removing barriers and fostering a dyslexia-friendly society. Every donation, big or small, helps provide crucial resources, training, and support for those who need it most.

Thank you for joining me on this journey and for believing in the power of dyslexia. Your generosity will help ensure that everyone with dyslexia can shine in their own unique way.

Fun Fact: Richard Branson, Steven Spielberg, Agatha Christie, Muhammad Ali, Cher & John Lennon all have dyslexia!
