Story
Luke Newman is the founder of ‘For Men To Talk’, a men’s peer support group. In May 2027, He will be returning to one of the poorest suburbs of Nakuru, Kenya for his TWELFTH humanitarian trip to help five schools in need of support and 100’s of children that would love nothing more than time and attention and a chance of a better education.
He will assist with teaching, help to develop teaching styles and curriculum, help with the feeding programme at the school, construct new classrooms and much, much more.
Every year, Luke needs to raise just under £3,000 which goes towards funding the trip and to the school he attends in Kenya.
Also, a small percentage of the money raised will also be donated to Derby County Community Trust's Harrison’s Hub at Pride Park Stadium. Harrison’s Hub delivers a range of inclusive community activities that help bring people together, reduce social isolation, and promote positive wellbeing.
