Story

Hello, and thank you for visiting my JustGiving page! In April 2025, I’ll be lacing up my running shoes and taking on the incredible challenge of the London Marathon. I’m beyond excited and honored to be running this iconic race—but more importantly, I’m doing it to support the life-changing work of the British Red Cross.

Why the British Red Cross?

The British Red Cross is there for people when they need it most, offering vital help in times of crisis. From responding to natural disasters to supporting refugees, assisting people facing homelessness, and promoting mental health, they bring compassion and relief wherever it’s needed, both in the UK and worldwide. Their work is a lifeline for so many, and as someone who believes deeply in helping others, I couldn’t be prouder to support their mission.

Why Am I Running?

Running a marathon has always been a personal dream and challenge. I’ve run before, but 26.2 miles is a whole new level! Beyond my own journey, though, I’m running because I believe in making a positive impact and giving back. Seeing the ways that the British Red Cross has transformed lives motivates me to push myself, and I hope that with your support, we can make a real difference together.

How Your Support Will Help

Every donation, big or small, will go directly to the British Red Cross, empowering them to continue providing essential services to people in crisis. Your support will help provide emergency shelter, food, clean water, mental health services, and so much more to communities in need. Here’s just a little of what your donation could contribute to:

£10 could provide essential hygiene supplies for a family in a disaster zone.

£25 could supply blankets and first aid supplies for a community facing crisis.

£50 could support a volunteer’s training to be a lifeline in a refugee camp.

£100 could help set up emergency relief stations following a natural disaster.

Join Me on the Journey!

Training for this marathon is no small feat, and as I prepare for race day, I’ll be sharing my progress, ups and downs, and little victories along the way. Follow me here for updates, training photos, and more insights into why this journey—and the British Red Cross—mean so much to me.

Thank you so much for considering supporting my marathon journey and, more importantly, helping the British Red Cross continue their work. With every mile, I’ll be thinking of all those who’ve given their support and the lives we can help change together.

Let’s make a difference—one step, one mile, and one generous donation at a time!
