SANDS, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, operates across the UK: supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby; working in partnership with health professionals to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care; and promoting improvements in practice and funding research that could help to reduce the loss of babies’ lives.

I have personally been impacted by the devastation and heartbreak that is caused by such a tragedy, as have so many family members, friends and loved ones. That is why I am determined to do something that absolutely terrifies the life out of me in support of an incredible charity doing wonderful work.

They depend on the amazing energy of their supporters to raise the vital funds needed to deliver the wide range of services on offer. This is why I call on all of you.
