Lunch Party

“New Year, New Classrooms”—a community-driven fundraising challenge to upgrade our temporary classrooms.

Story

Our children deserve the best. At St. Peter's Primary School, we're dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. However, the reality is that our classrooms are in need of significant improvement. In a vibrant community like Budleigh Salterton, it's heartbreaking to see our children learning in spaces that don't reflect the quality of education we strive to offer. That's why we're launching an exciting and unique fundraising initiative:

The St. Peter's Progressive Lunch!

Imagine a chain of delightful gatherings, each one building upon the last, all in support of our children's future. It starts with a simple party for six, and then blossoms into a series of intimate meals and get-togethers throughout our beautiful town.

Here's how it works:

A Ripple Effect of Generosity: The initial six participants will each host a gathering, and those guests will, in turn, host their own, creating a wonderful, interconnected network of support.

A Culinary Journey: Each gathering, whether it's a cozy lunch, an elegant afternoon tea, a lively dinner, or even a sunny picnic on the beach, will be a chance to connect and contribute.

A Simple Donation, a Big Impact: A suggested donation of £20 per person for each gathering will directly fund the much-needed classroom improvements at St. Peter's.

Flexibility and Fun: Hosts can choose their preferred style of gathering and even invite extra guests for additional donations, while ensuring the progression of the core chain.

A Community Celebration: This isn't just about raising money; it's about coming together as a community, sharing good food, creating lasting memories, and making a tangible difference in the lives of our children.

Why are we doing this?

We believe that every child deserves a bright and inspiring learning environment. Improved classrooms will directly enhance their educational experience, fostering creativity, engagement, and a love of learning. By participating in the Progressive Lunch, you're not just donating; you're investing in the future of our community.

Let's make this happen!

We aim to complete this fantastic fundraising journey before the end of the St. Peter's Summer Term on July 23rd. Let's work together to create classrooms that our children can be proud of. Join us in this delicious and meaningful initiative. Let’s make a real difference, together.
