The Mayor of Luton’s Charitable Iftar: Supporting Gaza humanitarian relief for Gaza

Luton Council is raising money for CAP Foundation
CAP Foundation is an UK-based international humanitarian relief and Charity Organisation. Our mission is to eradicate poverty, offer education, and facilitate health and welfare by developing innovative and sustainable solutions for the suffering communities and help to achieve a good life.

Story

The Mayor of Luton, Councillor Amy Nicholls, is hosting a charitable iftar at Luton Town Hall on Thursday 12 March 2026.

This special civic gathering will bring together residents, faith leaders, community organisations and supporters to raise vital funds for humanitarian aid in Gaza through the CAP Foundation.

As families continue to face displacement, hunger and lack of medical care, your support will directly fund emergency relief including:

• Nutritious food parcels

• Fresh drinking water

• Essential medical supplies

• Family hygiene kits

• Ramadan iftar meals

Donations raised at this event will support life-saving aid packages including:

• £20 – A hot meal for a family in crisis

• £40 – A hygiene kit to protect dignity and health

• £60 – A food parcel for a vulnerable household

Every contribution brings hope, relief and practical support to families affected by the crisis. Whether you can make the event or not, any contribution will support someone who is suffering
