Salaam/hello,
If you know me personally, you will know my career has always been dedicated to advocating for children’s physical, social and emotional wellbeing. Therefore, it only felt right that I run my half marathon to support children in Palestine who are currently suffering the costs of a genocide, which has been unforgiving to those affected. Whilst everyone deserves to be protected and not just children, we as a society have a moral duty to protect, advocate and care for children all over the world. All children, despite their living conditions, have a right to be loved, to be free, to learn and to play.
With that in mind, 100% of donations will be allocated to the Playgrounds for Palestine cause. They are a wonderful non profit organisation committed to helping children in Palestine learn, grow and they affirm their rights to be children. You can learn more here:
