Story
As everyone in Merseyside and beyond will be aware, on 14th November 2021, an act of terrorism took place at Liverpool Women’s Hospital.
Part of the post incident investigation meant the flowers, plants and shrubbery, that surrounded the iconic statute at the front entrance of the hospital, had to be removed.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue staff are fund raising to cover the cost of replanting the roundabout alongside assisting with the replanting itself.
we want to return the iconic entrance to a warm, welcoming image in line with the spirit and ethos of the hospital and show our communities and visitors that negative events will never define our City.
