Increasing the supply of attainable housing continues to be a key focus of LWVAAC's local advocacy. Anne Arundel County took a valuable step forward this year with the passage of Bill 72-24, requiring the construction of moderately priced dwelling units (MPDUs) in certain new developments. While this progress is encouraging and vital, it doesn't provide shelter for our neighbors in need today.
