On 26th September, I’ll be stepping into the ring for a Charity White Collar Boxing Match 🥊 in support of M.A.T.E (Men and Their Emotions) – a fantastic men’s mental health charity.

This cause is close to my heart. I’ve seen first-hand how M.A.T.E. has supported men in some of their toughest moments, helping them get back on their feet and reminding them they’re never alone.

WHO IS M.A.T.E ?

We are a men's mental health charity, led by individuals with lived experience.

Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive environment where men can seek help for their mental health challenges via Peer-to-Peer advice, guidance and mentoring.

At M.A.T.E, we build a community that fosters support and understanding for men facing mental health issues. We believe in the power of shared experiences and offer a platform for men to connect and find comfort in knowing they are not alone.

"Our ultimate goal is to eliminate the stigma and taboo surrounding men's mental health, empowering men to speak up with confidence. We aim to show that men can be Magnanimous, Authentic, Transparent, and Empathetic, moving beyond the outdated notion of "manning up.“

Through fundraising, we strive to create opportunities for men who have lacked them, support communities, and help men address and overcome their burdens. As the saying goes, "A problem shared is a problem halved." Men often suffer in silence, and we aim to give them a platform to share their struggles and find support."
