Story
On May 25th, Jack and I will be running/walking/shuffling 100km in the 'London 2 Brighton Ultra Challenge 2024', all to support the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association.
MND is a nasty condition that targets the motor neurones, disrupting the essential connection between the brain and muscles. This gradual breakdown results in weakness and wasting, impacting every aspect of daily life.
While there's no cure for MND at the moment, your support could truly impact lives. Contributions can go towards both funding vital research, and aiding an improved quality of life for anyone facing this disease.
Every contribution, big or small, is immensely appreciated. By supporting the MND Association, you're directly aiding their mission to provide essential support and resources to individuals and families affected by MND.
Here's how your collective donations could make an impact:
- £160: Provides a specialist communication app for a tablet/smartphone/laptop, enabling vital connections with loved ones.
- £280: Funds a year's worth of care coordination at a dedicated care centre, offering comprehensive support for individuals with MND.
- £1000: Covers the cost of detailed DNA analysis, contributing to a deeper understanding of MND's causes and potential treatments.
Thank you for considering supporting our cause. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by MND.
