Story
This year I’ll be taking part in the Wellies and Walkies fundraiser for Mary Stevens Hospice alongside my little cockapoo puppy, Chilli 🐾💛
My son Flynn, aged 7, will also be joining us for the walk, which makes it feel even more special as a family 🌿
Like so many people, cancer has touched the lives of those around me, and I think most of us know somebody who has been affected in some way. Having worked as a nurse myself, compassionate care has always been something very close to my heart 💛
The Mary Stevens Hospice provides specialist palliative and end-of-life care and support to people living with life-limiting illness, as well as those closest to them. The care is free of charge, but never cost-free, and events like this help ensure those vital services can continue for everyone who needs them 🌿
As I begin building my own gentle dog grooming and natural canine care business, taking part felt especially meaningful — bringing together care, community and dogs all in one lovely event 🐶✨
Flynn, Chilli and I would be so grateful for any donations, no matter how small, to help support the incredible work the hospice does 🐾💛
Thank you so much for reading and supporting us 🌿
