After completing the Silverstone Run Fest for Maggie's last year, I am taking on a new challenge! This March, I will be of completing 30K my way to yet again raise some well-deserved and needed funds for Maggie's Centres. Almost everybody has been affected by cancer at some point in their lives - I personally will be keeping my Grandad in mind as I go 🌻

Support for those living with or who are affected by cancer in their lives is so, so important, and Maggie's are a brilliant new addition to the community of Northampton. Their new centre on the grounds of Northampton General Hospital offers free, expert practical, emotional and psychological support to anyone living with cancer – including their families and friends.

Like all Maggie’s centres, it will be a calm, welcoming space where people can drop in without an appointment to access tailored one-to-one and group support, workshops, and courses.

The diverse programme will include sessions on stress management, nutrition, benefits advice, yoga, tai chi and art therapy – all delivered by a professional team including oncology nurses, a clinical psychologist and cancer support specialists.
