Story

Hi everyone,

This October, I’ll be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise money for Dementia UK, a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart.

My amazing mum is living with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson’s. Watching someone you love face the challenges of this cruel condition is heartbreaking. It’s difficult, unpredictable, and sometimes really overwhelming — but through it all, my mum continues to show incredible strength, love and a sense of humour. She continues to be the sweetest person on Earth.

Running this race is my way of doing something to help. Dementia UK provides specialist dementia nurses — known as Admiral Nurses — who support families with expert advice, understanding, and practical help. I want to help ensure they can continue to be there for every family who needs them.

Every mile I run will be for my mum, and for the thousands of others affected by dementia every day.

If you’re able to support me, no matter how big or small the donation, it would mean the world.

Thank you so much 💙
