Throughout May I will be walking for M.E.

In September 2024 I was diagnosed with ME/CFS, after almost 2 years of various blood tests and assessments.

• Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) is a serious and often long-lasting illness that keeps people from doing their usual activities.

• It makes physical and mental exertion difficult.

• There is no known cause or cure. Care usually means treating the symptoms that most affect a person's life.

There is a daily impact with symptoms varying throughout the day and extreme flare ups occurring at times of pressure and stress.

I am aiming to complete 3 walks per week, throughout the month of May. Although this will likely vary due to my condition, each walk I hope will raise more awareness.
