Story
After years of cheering from the sidelines and swearing I’d never do it, I’ve succumbed and signed up to run London 2026!!
I’m taking on the challenge to raise money for Scope, a brilliant charity that works to create a fairer society for disabled people. The support, opportunities, and positive change they provide is life changing, and I’m proud to be running in their name.
There are 16 million disabled people in the UK. That’s one in four of us. Life is harder when you’re disabled. You're twice as likely to be unemployed and the cost of living is higher by £1,095 each month.
Scope’s mission is for disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. All funds go directly towards supporting Scope’s vision of a world where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. They campaign relentlessly to create a fairer society, while providing practical and emotional advice and support to disabled people and their families when it’s needed most.
Any and all advice welcomed and THANK YOU SO MUCH 🩷
