Meningitis is horrible, there are around 8,000 cases of bacterial meningitis in the UK, and after contraction, 1 in 10 will die. Then, for around one person for every three that survive the disease, they are left with at least one or more after-effects.

Three years ago, my older brother Thomas died from this disease at age 22. In honor of his memory, I will be racing the London Half Marks to raise money for Meningitis Now.

Supporting Meningitis Now will help fund research, raise awareness and support those affected by the disease. This will help to save lives and rebuild futures.
