Story
Along with many others, I was lucky enough to know Hannah personally, having grown up together in Pony Club (although I say “together”—she was always much better than me!). She was the happiest, most easy-going and intelligent girl, as well as the most INCREDIBLE rider.
Hannah’s legacy has stayed with me every single day since we lost her. As some of you will already know, her quote, “Dream Big, Fight Hard & Never Give Up,” sits proudly on the wall of my studio. I genuinely don’t think I would be sitting here today, in my own rehab studio, without the impact she had on my life.
Over the last ten years, my life has changed dramatically. I’ve said yes to opportunities, taken big leaps and pushed myself far beyond my comfort zone. Hannah’s story is a constant reminder that life can change in an instant and that we should make the very most of the time we’re given.
I owe so much of the person I’ve become to the perspective Hannah gave me.
Running for Hannah’s Willberry Wonder Pony isn’t “just” running a marathon to me—it’s a small step towards giving back and helping to carry forward the incredible legacy she left us.
Please help me raise as much as we possibly can!
Hannah’s charity funds vital research into osteosarcoma, the rare form of bone cancer Hannah had. Because osteosarcoma is so rare, research funding is limited, and treatment has remained largely unchanged for several decades. Let’s see how much we can raise to help change that.
Thank you so SO much for your support!
