Play Action International is a UK registered charity and international NGO, working to enrich children's lives through play. We do this by providing vulnerable children with play facilities and play based learning programmes, enabling them to gain all the developmental benefits that play has to offer and the tools for future success.
This summer, I'm embarking on a 4-week-mission to build a vibrant playground in an empty field at a local school in Kenya. Play is more than just fun; it's essential for a child's development. By providing play facilities and play-based learning programs, we help vulnerable children develop vital social skills, ignite their imaginations, boost their confidence, and support their emotional well-being and physical health. Our playground project will be a hub of creativity, stimulation, and joy for these children. In fact, as a result of these playgrounds being built 98% of schools report an increase in attendance in school.
