Story
In October 2025, at just six years old, our daughter, Lyla, was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive type of bone cancer.
Over 9 months she underwent surgery, chemotherapy and proton beam therapy.
In June we received the best news that there was no evidence of disease. She will continue to be scanned every 3 months.
Now we would like your help to give something back.
Each year, around 1,900 children aged 15 and under are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. Around 30 will have Ewing Sarcoma. This type of cancer primarily affects children but the treatment is designed for adults and has not changed since 1980s.
We would like to raise funds for the Bone Cancer Research Trust to support research into kinder, more effective treatments for children with bone cancer and to raise awareness of symptoms that are too often dismissed.
Every contribution will help make a difference. If you can't donate, please consider sharing this page.
Thank you.
