On the night of Friday, November 15th, Mandy and I will be taking part in “Escape from Meriden”. Gathering at a stone cross on the village green in Meriden, the centre of England, we will start at midnight. Our challenge? To find our own route and travel solely on foot through the cold and dark, with the hope of making it back home to Stone before the sun sets again on Saturday afternoon.

Along the way we hope to raise funds for Samaritans (Stoke And Newcastle branch). Any support you can give will help Samaritans to be there when others are in their own dark place and need someone to listen.
