Lynda Harrison is raising money for Head In The Game
Head In The Game is a UK registered charity that offers the invaluable opportunity for people in the local community to unite and indulge in the sport they love. These weekly sessions, provided free of charge, cater to anyone between the ages of 18-65, regardless of their ability. Under the guidance of experienced sport and talking therapy coaches, each session is meticulously designed to prioritise mental health and overall wellbeing. By creating a secure and trusted environment, these sessions serve as an outlet for participants to address their mental health concerns. Our sessions serve as a lifeline for many participants, providing invaluable support during their most challenging moments. Within our open, honest, and non-judgmental environment, we offer unwavering support, enabling people to navigate through their darkest times and embrace brighter days ahead.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In my year as District Chairman for Sevenoaks District council I have chosen two charities to support they are “Head in the game” who support mental health and help with suicide prevention through sport.

Also “friends for families” - who provide support to families, with food, clothes bedding, bed and other items we take for granted but some families struggling with, Hard times can hit anyone at anytime. Thr cost of living or struggles that life throws at us at times.

I am holding my own fund raising events in my year from May 2025-26 garden visits, after teas, raffles, tours, cycling around Brands hatch, charity rugby games and other events.

I am delighted to be in collaboration with many of the Kent rugby team/clubs who have formed West Kent Barbarians rugby RFC and are united iby rugby and men’s mental health - they enjoy sport and playing together including out of season games. They have teamed up with me to raise much needed funds for these charities.

Hope you can support and help.
