Story
From One Bell to Another – Running to Raise Awareness, Inspire Hope & Support Everyone Affected by Cancer
A year ago, I rang the bell in Chicago Marathon after qualifying for good for age, earning my place to run London and Boston and other qualifying major marathons.
Now one year later, I've rang a very different bell, the one marking the end of my Stage 3 bowel cancer treatment and being told I'm cancer free. I'm proud to say I am a cancer survivor.
It's been a journey I never expected, I couldn't have done it without my amazing family, who have been so loving, supportive and by my side every step of the way, along with my wonderful friends and work colleagues who've lifted me through the hardest days.
My recovery and fitness is only just beginning, but I want to use it to bring hope, awareness, and encouragement to others going through cancer.
I gained my London Marathon 2026 through good for age, I've chosen to use this run to raise awareness and funds, not because I have to, but because I want to give something back. I'll be running with my amazing daughter Kaylee, running to raise funds for Bowel Cancer UK and Cancer Research UK, supporting all cancers.
If you would like to support, you can donate to either cause or simply share my story to help spread awareness and positivity. Together, we can make a real difference.
