Story
Some of you may know that Molly is in the process of being diagnosed with Narcolepsy. Chris is walking from Wolverhampton Rugby Club to Twickenham.
At the end of January, she suddenly started falling asleep and dropping to the floor. After a week in hospital and every scan they have available they are near 100% that it is Narcolepsy with Cataplexy.
Molly suffers with repeated behaviours, sleep paralysis and a slow motion episodes, all of which end in a micro sleep and cataplexy attack where she collapses.
This has affected her everyday life and now needs supervision all day. She is surrounded by amazing people, and is currently starting to get back to school after several weeks out.
Molly has had to stop a lot of activities due to this, including swimming and her beloved Rugby, which we hope she can restart when medicated.
Narcolepsy UK have been extremely informative and supportive since January and their support continues. Narcolepsy is very rare and many people do not know about it.
