Story
On the 19th of June 2024, our lives took an unexpected turn when Noah was diagnosed with leukaemia (ALL) aged 3.
The news was a shock, and we were filled with worry and fear of what was to come. However, the incredible care and unwavering dedication of the staff at Schiehallion Ward 2a have been a source of comfort for our entire family and especially for Noah.
Two months into this challenging journey (and with many more ahead) we have already been deeply moved by the support provided by the hospital for patients and their families. We will forever be grateful to the Glasgow Children’s Hospital and are committed to doing everything in our power to support them as they have supported us on this path.
As a family, we will be taking part in Kami Bear's Teddy Trail, a 5k walk on 14th of September. If you are able to contribute to this cause, your support would mean a great deal to us.
At this point, there is some good news - Noah is in remission!
His resilience continues to inspire us; facing each day with the same enthusiasm and joy as before. A happy, cheeky, fun-loving boy!
