PANS and PANDAS affect families nationwide, and so does our call for change. I’m proud to join #ChallengeforPANSPANDAS in their biggest challenge yet.

Layla is an incredible 5-year-old. She is kind, unbelievably intelligent, endlessly hilarious, and has a mind bursting with curiosity beyond her years. Diagnosed with PANDAS at age 3, Layla developed tics and OCD overnight after battling strep, COVID, and impetigo—all within just two weeks. She faces tough challenges no child should have, but her positivity and strength inspire everyone around her.

With the love and support of family, amazing friends, a brilliant school, and dedicated NHS and private doctors, Layla bounces back from each flare, though there’s still no cure.

Through Layla Leaps for Change, Layla is using her endless energy to make a difference. Each leap on her trampoline/our beds/ from point A to B (as is her usual way of travelling!) will be a symbol of hope for children and families on this journey.
