Àban is Scotland's only independent DofE Open Award group; offering weekly free-to-access outdoor youth groups for biking, mountaineering, and open water swimming.

As a lover of the great outdoors I firmly believe in the mental and physical benefits of these types of activities. Not everyone has access or the financial means to experience the boost of well-being and confidence that they can bring. I think all people and especially young people deserve the opportunity.

To help raise funds for this excellent cause I will be braving the chilly waters of the Beauly Firth and joining The Kessock Ferry Swim - a tidal swim across the Kessock narrows.
