Hi everyone,

I am running The Hale 10k with Alex and my friend Kay to honor best friend’s beautiful little boy, Jesse, who was born fighting the toughest battle - cancer. He was diagnosed with rare rhabdomyosarcoma, a condition that no child should ever have to face, but from day one of fighting this awful disease, he has shown nothing but strength, bravery, and resilience and defied all odds by making it to his first birthday, despite doctors saying he wouldn’t.

Through endless hospital visits, treatments, and challenges, Jesse continued to smile, bringing joy and inspiration to everyone around him. His incredible parents and family have faced every moment with admirable, unwavering courage.

Sadly, Jesse passed away in December, leaving a huge void in the lives of so many. But his light, love, and fighting spirit will never be forgotten.

Every donation, big or small, will help fund pioneering research into rhabdomyosarcoma, working towards kinder, more effective treatments for children with cancer to give other children a fighting chance.
