A group of local hikers (known as the 'Madheads') have decided to take on this challenge as part of fundraising for Alzheimers Society. We are dedicated to raising as much money as we can. We are doing this challenge in memory of loved ones, family, and friends who have/had Alzheimers/Dementia.

So far, there are 16 of us hikers signed up for the challenge under the team name of 'Team Guys and Dolls Wrexham'. Training is already underway in order for us to be in the best form we can be come the day of the event.

We regularly hike twice weekly with our local 'Walking for Pleasure' group. We are a great bunch of people who have big hearts, compassion, and empathy. This is our team fundraising page. Please supports is to reach our target.

Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.
