I am going to run The Great North Run for MND in light of mum’s recent devastating diagnosis of this awful Neuro degenerative condition. MND is a progressive disease where nerves die off one by one leading to loss of function to limbs and ultimately death. We are in desperate need of good treatments and ultimately cures so no one else should have to go through this, be it themselves or family and friends. Let MND be resigned to the history books.
