I have set myself a challenge of running 70 miles in 7 days. I will complete the TCS London Marathon on the 27th April 2025, then 14 miles in between working Monday -Friday that week then finishing with a 30 mile ultra marathon on the Saturday.

Why am I doing this?

In 2024 my sister Karen was diagnosed with cancer requiring significant surgery to remove & reconstruct. In recognition of her bravery & resilience I wanted to raise some money for charity. Karen asked if I can raise money for the local cancer support centre - The Cove.

The Cove MacMillan Support Centre offers support to all those affected by cancer. Karen was offered support for herself & her young family following diagnosis

Money donated to The Cove fund is for the benefit of patients, volunteers and staff who visit and work in The Cove. They can purchase additional items to make patient and visitors more comfortable,

You never know when cancer may affect you or those you love. These support centres are crucial

I am aiming to raise at least £500.
