UK Police Unity Tour 2025 in memory of Stevie Cully

UK Police Unity Tour 2025 · 1 August 2025 to 3 August 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
As some of you know, prior to me joining Police Scotland, one of my (many!!) previous jobs was Nannying for Hannah and Josh Cully, the beautiful kids of Rosie and the late, Stevie Cully.
Stevie joined Lothian & Borders Police in October 1994 and served on the Firearms Support Unit since 2005 before going on to be S National Firearms Instructor from 2009.
On 09 September 2011, Stevie was at Tulliallan in his capacity as a firearms training officer. Tragically, he passed away very suddenly in his bedroom of heart failure.
To say it was a huge shock would be an understatement given he was one of the fittest guys going, completing the gruelling Marathon des Sables amongst many other sporting achievements. He was a top guy with a heart of gold and a cheeky smile to boot.
The Scottish chapter of the tour I'll be cycling sets off from Gretna on 31 July 2025 and looks like this:
Day 1 - 78 miles
Day 2 - 102 miles
Day 3 - 32 miles
The tour will finish at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire where a Service of Remembrance will be held for fallen friends and colleagues.
The purpose of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty as well as raising funds for Care of Police Survivors, a UK charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers and police staff who have lost their lives on duty.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
