Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As you will all be aware our beautiful daughter, Leah, was diagnosed with rare Melanoma in January 2012. She had extensive treatment under the care of Great Ormond Street and UCL, however she sadly lost her battle against the disease on 31st July 2012.

Melonoma in children is a disease which is under researched which makes it hard to treat. Veronica Kinsler is an amazing specialist that specialises in the condition that Leah had and now carries out her research’s from UCL. As a result all monies are now sent there.

The money we raise through your kind donations and our fundraising events will be used to research the disease and effective ways to treat it. Leah, sadly, lost her brave battle against the aggressive disease however we want to ensure she has a lasting legacy in the funds we raise which will help to research the condition and hopefully give a brighter future to children who are suffering from the disease.

We greatly appreciate all your support and generosity.
