I'll be taking part in this walk in memory of my beautiful mam Anne and our gorgeous friend Beryl - who always loved a visit from Spud.

I started training Spud to become a friendship dog during the time I was caring for mam. We took Spud to mam's dementia groups with us - he was a huge hit. He made everyone smile and was always the talk of the session.

After my mam sadly passed away I decided to volunteer with Spud for Wag and Company.

Throughout this time we have visited and made some very special friends. Spud has made a huge difference to their lives. It's heartwarming to see.

This charity not only cheers people up it keeps the elderly connected and prevents loneliness.
